A blast from the past spread over five nostalgia-packed days. Cooly Rocks On is gearing up to make up for last year’s unfortunate cancellation with a brand new music lineup, more classic cars and the return of fan-favourite retro pageants Miss Rockabilly and Miss Cooly Rocks On.
Cooly Rocks On Festival is Australia’s biggest event for all things rock ’n’ roll, rockabilly, swing and vintage, boasting live music on stage, vintage markets, baby boomer dancing (think twist and jive) and hundreds of vintage cars and motorcycles gleaming on the beachfront.
If you’re an old soul, grab your best 50s, 60s or 70s garb and don’t miss this free nostalgia festival in beautiful Coolangatta.
Kirra Longboard Klassic 2021

Following its successful 2019 event, Kirra Longboard Klassic is finally back for another jaw-dropping longboard skill showcase on iconic Kirra Beach.
This event is just for fun, offering longboarders the chance to showcase their skills while surf fans watch on (for free) from the beachside.
What’s more, Kirra Longboard Klassic 2021 has been extended to take place over one whole weekend – not to be missed for longboard enthusiasts and anyone just looking for the perfect excuse to head to the beach.
BLEACH Festival Gold Coast

Last but not least, the much-loved annual BLEACH Festival encompasses heritage, culture, artistry and expression in a vibrant program packed with music, dance, theatre, circus, art, storytelling, artist workshops, special guest talks and lots more.
