Come to Currumbin Beach this September for the return of SWELL Sculpture Festival, where once again the beachfront will take on a new look with mesmerising sculptures and interactive art.
SWELL Sculpture Festival has featured a long run since 2002, where Natasha Edwards and Kylie Mitchell-Smith came up with the concept to integrate art in a public place. The Southern Gold Coast’s Currumbin Beach provided the perfect backdrop, and has since then seen SWELL Sculpture Festival return annually each spring, attracting over 250,000 people for its thought-provoking and fun environmental displays.
This 2018, don’t miss the 16th SWELL Sculpture Festival, which will once again take place on Currumbin Beach. It’s an incredible spectacle that’s well-worth seeing, and offers something that everyone can enjoy and be inspired from. The beach will feature over 50 stunning artworks and exhibits from both national and international artists, and will coincide alongside family-friendly entertainment, markets, and exciting kids’ activities.
The 16th SWELL Sculpture Festival will take place over ten days on Currumbin Beach, from September 14 to September 23. For an exciting and surreal experience, don’t miss it!
