Have you ever felt guilty leaving your kids to a nanny or well-meaning relatives just so you can go on a vacation?

Have you ever been on a vacation that kept you family stuck in a hotel because there were no child-friendly amenities available for your kids?

There are ways to avoid this problem and below are a few tips to help you choose the best child-friendly getaway you and your whole family will enjoy.

What’s a vacation when no one’s having fun, right?

1. Research before you book

When you have young children in tow, make sure your resort or hotel destination provides amenities and facilities suited for little ones. Playing is a child’s way to interact with the world. For kids, it is not a distraction. It is how they naturally roll.

When children are able to have fun freely in a new environment, your life gets easier. You can put your feet up, relax and soak up the sun as you watch your kids play.

Remember, if your children are not enjoying themselves, it’s highly likely you won’t too.

Our Elanora Resort Accommodation  is a family-friendly complex that offers a slew of facilities that keep small kids, toddlers and spirited young ones entertained. A seasonally heated children’s wading pool offers them a warm and watery playground to bask in.

Our Games Rooms have a pool table and game machines that kids can easily use during reception hours.

Check out the details of our offerings by clicking on the Facilities tab.

2 . Choose an accommodation that is nearby child-friendly attractions

Going outside the resort to explore the area with your kids requires that you be near establishments and activities that are similarly accommodating to their needs.

Isle of Palms is situated close to Pine Lake and Currumbin Creek both of which offer fishing opportunities. It is also a perfect place to show kids the beauty of nature.

Currumbin Beach and Palm Beach are just minutes away so expect a pleasurable time making sand castles, playing beach ball or simply just running across the sand.

The Pines Shopping Centre complex is across the road from our Elanora Resort Accommodation  so you can conveniently purchase anything and everything your kids need.

3. Find out what people say about the resort

Make sure to check out the reviews and comments people say about the resort you plan to go to. This is an effective way to find out about other people’s experiences and use this as a gauge to know if a resort’s child-friendly pronouncements are true. Plus, you’ll now what to expect when you do book a stay.

“Karlene F”, a Trip Advisor reviewer, wrote about our Elanora Resort Accommodation and how we “provided a safe environment especially for (their) children (thanks to our)…gated entry.”

“Karlene F” adds: “Our stay at Isle of Palms was excellent. The resort was close to everything we needed such as Movie World and Sea World. The local restaurants and shopping were also very good…Our family enjoyed our stay very much.”

Another Trip Advisor review by “Hannah K” describes the lovely time they had at Isle of Palms.

“…We had such a lovely time, 2 pools and close to the beach. The kids loved swimming and playing tennis. Staff were really friendly too. We are coming back for sure!!!! Thanks for a great holiday. :)”

It is easy to find a child-friendly accommodation if you know what to look for. Hopefully, these tips are helpful in your quest to find a resort that would suit your whole family’s needs.
