You can learn how to maintain a sustainable garden for free when you attend the Sustainable Gardening Workshop organized by the Gold Coast City Council.
Know about composting, worm farming and using bokashi bins to recycle your waste and make your garden better. You will also learn effective techniques to recycle vegetable scraps, garden clippings, fruit scraps, eggshells, tea leaves, pet hair and house dust.
The Sustainable Gardening Workshop is an effective way to do your bit for the environment while being a simple home gardener. Recycling scraps of food and green garden waste can give your garden a nutrient-rich compost while keeping valuable resources out of landfill.
The workshop will take place at Elanora Library, the Pines Shopping Centre Guineas Creek Road, Elanora QLD 4221 on October 19, 2013. It is a less than ten-minute walk from our Gold Coast Holiday Accommodation.
